We get a lot of rain in the Pacific Northwest and the bottom row of my firewood is always wet (even though I have it tarped). Also the bottom of my kindling pile never dries out. Then various bugs live in that bottom row of wood.
So I was thinking of getting a bunch of used plastic pallets to stack all my wood on to keep it off the ground. I was thinking this would be better than wood pallets for the bug thing.
Anyone do this?
