Gents,

I will be headed to Corvallis competing at the end of November. Because of our travel time line, there will be a little time to check out some lumberjacky type things. Are there any good logger related things close by worth checking out?

More near and dear to the site, are there any saw shops worth checking in or near Corvallis? It would be a good excuse to look for a 361 wrap, or maybe whole saw if the prices break down reasonably. Other than running all the way up to Woodinville, where could I take a van full of collegiate logging sports competitors?

Any of you guys support OSU Timbersports? Not a lot of saw racing for the college kids, but lots of good competition.

Thanks.

Well, :) there is a wonderful store that has rooms of polar fleece and outdoor fabrics, patterns etc. called The Rainshed. It is on an out of the way neighborhood looking street.

I wasn't into saw shops when I went to a quarters worth of classes there. Or when I lived on the coast. I'm thinking Philomath, pronounced fill oh muth with the long syllable being on the oh, or Lebanon, or one of the surrounding towns. Eugene isn't far away.
