Took a hike up into the mountains today on some TNC land.

This isn't the largest pine on the preserve, but I hope to get a pic of the largest Ponderosa and Southwestern White Pine in TX in a few weeks.

The area the pic was taken, there were 70ft+ Ponderosa pines with a 40-50% live crown ratio with some trees having 80-90% crown scorch from the Rockhouse Fire :dizzy:

Trees on this place are Alligator Juniper, some Cypress, Quaking Aspen, 9 different Oaks, Pondy, SW White, Pinon and the rare Texas Madrone. That's all I can remember.

The other pics are from the preserve, and the last is a Madrone I cut last week.
