Hi guys, I'm putting a 4000 piston and cylinder on a craftman badged 3400. I tore up both base gaskets and was trying to decide weather to try to find one or make one and then I got to thinking about leaving it out. I remember reading a post somewhere about how some saws get a power increase just by deleting the gasket, while others (the 359 husky was the example given) don't benefit from it at all. Both these saws had 130 PSI before I got started. What would all you Poulan experts do here? Any advise appreciated!
