The 2100 was just ending up and the 2101 was just getting started about the time the 655 was getting started. No matter, the 655 isn't scared of a 2101 at all and there still not afraid of of a 660..

If priced right, it would be worth the drive, but to take a chance on bidding on it at a auction? Not me..

I drove 2 hours to get mine, and cost me 400 bucks. But i love mine. Where are you going to find a 6 cube saw for that kinda money nowadays? It was worth it to me.

Also depends on the type of auction, around my neck of the woods id probly buy that saw for little of nothing bc its a poulan and 95% of the people dont have any idea what there looking at. They just know it doesn't say stihl on it so it must be no good.

I wish i could remember the guys name, but he was in sawing competitions sponsored by poulan i think years ago, used a heavily modified 655. He beat people like they owed him money.

My dad picked up a Poulan Pro 295 at an auction for $5! Runs great!

I have a 3/8" x 30" on mine.

Thinking about going to .404" x 36" as I picked up a NOS Poulan branded bar for cheap.

I suppose it would pull it but IDK.
