I have had my mill for about 15 years. I have cut for our projects, neighbors, and friends. I've got a good bit hacked with no plans for it. I have never sold the first foot of lumber. I always use it or give it away.
Had 2 guys show up tonight who want to buy all the pine I have cut. It's all 8' and 10' boards from 4" to 14" wide. It is all cut 9/8" thick. I don't have the 1st clue how to price it. I don't want to get into measuring and figuring per board and I intend to make sure the fairness of the deal is heavy to the buyer....but I'm within days of retirement and was hopeful the mill could turn into a little pocket money instead of just a hobby expense.
Please share your expertise in helping me with a starting point.
Thank you in advance for your assistance!!!!
