Thank you all very much. From all that I've read it seems like a good thing to do for the saw. After just take it to a local shop and have them tune it so it's running right?

Ahhh… yah, this is a joke right?? Even in the land of the blind, a one eye man is considered a God. Most dealers will not touch a modified saw with a 50ft clown pole. If you modify it, you alone will be responsible for it. You should also know that you will devalue the resale of you saw. Good Luck cowboy!
