Quickbooks 2009 help needed

i dont see anywhere where you can add a service item on the inventory list just wondering if anyone uses Pro 2009 addition of quickbooks ?

just make the entry in the ledger or checkbook and if it does not exist you should get an interface that asks you to add it.

I don't know if you figured it out already, but when you add an item there is a dropdown that asks what type of item: inventory, non-inventory, service, etc... That is where you can add a service.
