It's interesting to see what they recommend for milling.

Second choice they recommend is 10º top plate cutting angle and first is 90º? presumably they mean 0º , otherwise there is no way a 90º top plate angle will cut anything.
 
I researched carbide chains on the net and despite advice to the contrary I ordered some Rapco milling chain and cross cut. The trouble is 2 fold - Firstly due to the nature of carbide you just cannot get it as sharp as normal steel chain. Secondly if you hit metal or a stone you can end up losing half the teeth and having to throw away the chain.

You're better off buying several steel chains and resharpening even doing stumps as again hit a stone and it can knock the carbide tips off.
