I just picked up a mid 60s air driven saw at a friend's estate sale. Anyone have info on these things?
I'll have to find someone with a huge compressor to even test it...needs constant 90psi.

I have a few air saws, but not a 6P. Is it a one-man configuration? You definately need a tow behind compressor to cut with them. I have taken mine to vintage engine shows with the compressor and cut with them.

Yes, one man, 20" with 9/16" skip chain, I think.

Saw was sold to a company in Seattle and is back in use!
Pretty dang cool!

I bet that's rough on chains! They fab up some parts to run .375 or .404 bar and chain?

Don't know. I'm hoping Stephan will chime in on what they do.
When I was prepping the saw for shipping...draining gearbox and chain oil...I found evidence that this saw had probably been used underwater before...and probably by the military.
