From pics I've seen, the oil plunger seems too long for a plain Bantam. Could have been changed, tho. Anyone see anything to make this other than a Bantam - no suffix? On Acres, all suffix saws start in 1960 and newer. Thanks, Doug

The cream and brown color and right-hand recoil gives it away as an early Bantam (I wouldn't mind having one of those to go with my gear drive). Later ones were red and white with a left-hand recoil. Don't ask me why. I can't figure Remington out.

Take information on Acres' site with a large grain of salt.
