The Vista might be a better alternative since it is a little smaller. I don't want to get something that will be sweating us out. Are you familiar with the inferred heaters that came out a few years ago. I was able to heat my entire house when it was 20 degrees with two of those electric heaters. They ran the entire time but kept us warm. So I am a little leary about a wood stove and getting to much, but at the same time don't want to little. In reality the efficiency of a fireplace would probably heat my house easily, just don't have the money for that.
