Hello again,

I'd like to move a burr oak.

It is about 12' high and it's trunk it about 3.5 inches in diameter. Can this tree be moved now without killing it? I don't really have the option of waiting till winter. It's leaves have begun to turn for autumn. I'd hire an experienced crew with a tree spade.

Thank you

Drum Lace

You can also try to find some guys who can drum lace (hand B&B) for transplanting.Less air pockets when planting and your depth isnt so limited, you can dig as deep as you tell them to.
