TJ and Lee will be sending the times sometime tonite stay tuned.
Barky, you were too slow with the times. Rotax Robert had too many beverages and got the times mixed up like I did the first year in Oroville when Robert kicked everyones butt with Art Martins 090. lol
TJ was first @ 3.52 with an FMC 084 built by Dennis Cahoon.
An unknown 066 was second @ 3.59
Robert Andrews was 3rd @ 4.40 with a KD 3120
Lee was 4.80 with a 3120
These are official times according to Dennis Cahoon.

Spansky is who built Art Martin's 090. Now that's one fast saw.

I thought the unknown who took second with a spansky 066 actualy took first and TJ second...The unknown is Frank Cain Jr. out of Demming Wa. Either way both were fast. Also the times listed before I believe are the qualifying times as they only took the top 3 saws for the finals and I think we all finished as we qualified with final times pretty close to the first cut to qualify.

Thanks anyway Dean, speaking of blind, check out the chain I am working on for the GTG.

Nice tooth Gypo Logger. Yes klickitatsacket, if it was an 066, it was fast, but I think getting beat by almost a second in 22" wood is a "woopin" and like poor Lee said, if he didn't have a crack in his pipe he'd a beat them all. Mcsaw

hey Gypo.. that tooth just looks wild.. and i must say i just dont get why its filed that way.. it looks reverse the norm to me.. whats the advantage of that? my only experiance with chain is straight out of the box and normal round filing.. i have a LOT to learn about filing if i want to compete in the hotsaw contests.. getting my money saved up for a silvey swing arm grinder too.

Hi McSaw and dedcow, thank you for the encouragement. The cutter pictured was actually ground on a Silvey Pro Sharp, but what your looking at is the results of my Oklahoma stoning, which gives it that fish hook beek.
Here's a couple more pictures.

Hi Jon, great to see you posting again. Now we just have to drag Ole Art & Ken out of their Igloos. I suppose they joined the Walt Galer Camp. LOL
Anyway Jon, would you have Mark Eckhart's phone # handy?
John

I hope that Ken and Art both come back on the forum. I had the opertunity to talk with both earlier this weak. Both have read the posts about the Sequim Show here and called to talk to me to see what I was about. Talk about feeling like a little dog in the tall grass. Both of these guys are nice and helpful but talking to these guys was a little intimidating. I hope that they decide to jump back on here and share their vast knowledge of saw performance. I am also hoping that maybe the powers that be would see fit to allow some of the banned back on here as well. I see that there are a few back and maybe if we all ask please we could get Mr. Cahoon back as well. Just a passing thought.
