Them old tractors pull wood no problem. Nice deere and good sized log what are your plans for wood? firewood/lumber. what flavor is that log?

Those are sycamore. They are going to be made in to pallets. The one that was pulled solo by the A went 375 BF. I think that she would pull more if I had another 400# on the rear axel. But don't know if the ground would keep traction. I am looking at a 720 with a 3pt hitch. Also going to be putting the forks on the 530. The bracket for the forks should allow it to pull just as much as the A.

I pull logs with a 525 Cat skidder for a living and I'm impressed.
I remember back in 1976, I was discing with a 275 hp 8630 John Deere 4wd with duals that broke down. While it was in the shop the boss put me on his 52 A to disc with. Even after running the awesome 8630, the 52 A impressed me. That says a lot for the old JD iron.
