Starting my MS 390

When starting my MS390 shouldn't the choke lever, or "master control lever" as referred to in the manual, automatically move from "full choke" to "half choke" once the engine fires? It moves from "half choke" to run in auto so I assume it should go from full to half to run automatically. I'm thinkin' it did the first few times we used the saw when it was new. Thanks for any help.

No, you must move it from full choke to half choke manually.

My thinkin' was a little off then. Not uncommon these days. Good to know the saw is working correctly. Thanks.
