stihl 015l needs help

Actually,i need the help.I was given a 015l saw weeks ago that doesnt run.Determined to get this one running as i always take fixer uppers but have trouble following thru.So,my first issue(reason i was given saw)had no spark,and wire was short.I replaced coil wire and now have good spark.I rebuilt the carb and checked fuel line.line good,filter seems ok but with hose off carb it is very slow to flow?Next,i have 110-118 compression.When i spray fuel in either the carb or plug hole it will not fire and shows crisp spark when checked immediately after?What am i missing?I thank you in advance.vipertec

Pull the muffler off and look at the piston.... is it scored?? Melted??
