Stumped here guys.Both springs are gone on the flywheel starter pawls, and as its an obsolete part, my local dealer doesnt stock it.Its also not available to be ordered in.
Tried a bodge fit with various other springs but failed to find anything suitable.No stockist of obsolete parts this side.
Anyone know of a source for these springs in the US?site sponsor maybe who can ship to the UK at reasonable cost?Part no.00009981104

They will only take orders from existing customers unless you go there in person.In line with stihls new policy.Cheers anyway.

Cheers skallywag.I took your advice and rang them, i had only checked their online sales.Very helpfull, and they had what i needed.

i would go back to your dealer and ask him to try again...those springs are still available from the factory, but im in the united states so.....they list here for about a buck ten
