Hey guys, was looking at my 026 today and noticed a screw holding a small plastic insert in. I took the screw out and one side has a snow flake on it, the other a sun. Now I know what they represent, and how they help the chainsaw in terms of temperature outdoors. But does this piece really make a difference? I appreciate a company trying to make something better so does this piece make it better?

That shutter is there to prevent carb icing at lower temps with high humidity. It does work when needed. Not a good idea to have it open during the summer, though.
