stihl 034 with see thru gas tank?

did the 034 ever come with a see thru gas tank?

My 036 has one but my 034 does not, I would like to know the answer as well.

I don't recall seeing a stock, unmolested 034 with a see-through tank. I remember the early 036s had the solid tank as well. There were some 034 frankensaws later that had see-through tanks installed on them.

The see-through tank is such a good idea that I can't believe EVERY saw that doesn't have a magnesium tank doesn't have it.

yes the us versions in the early to mid 90's had the see through tanks.. great saws.. I have had 3 and they all had see through tanks and front tensioners.

thats the same as mine, front tensioner and see thru tank. At first I thought something had happened to the saw, and someone swapped the tank out.
