I've sent a few messages to ebayers before ... but everyone is so sensitive today, I don't bother.
If I was going to send this guy a message, I'd say something like:
"How much will shipping be to the planet Earth?"
or
"The pictures are too sharp ... can you email me some really blurry ones?"
