I have an older 064 that 90% of the time you set the choke, pull it once or twice and it fires. Every so often I try to start and it just won't fire, won't even sputter. I checked and it has spark, I've tried spraying started fluid and it still won't go. Usually I'll pull for ever and it will eventually fire or I'll just put it back in the shop and next time I try to use it it might work. Only thing I can think of is maybe it's time for a carb rebuild, or maybe it's set wrong. Once it's started it runs great though.

Any ideas?

Id pull the plug and see if it wet or dry, but like brad said both issues will probably be fixed with a good clean and rebuild. Its fairly easy just remember how you take it apart and put it back together the same way.
