stihl 066 need help

I see that it is an early model 066, so inspect the fuel line, impulse line and intake boot closely for cracks/tears, especially if you have some sloppy AV mounts.

Yea the Av mounts are about gone. I'm gonna go ahead replace the fuel line, impulse line, boot, all that stuff. Any guidance? Would it be best to take it in? Or could I do it?
 
#16 can be tough to remove. I find it easier to remove the whole rear tank handle assembly.

Not a bad way to swap out the intake and impulse lines while the tank/ handle is off
Listen to Harley too, check piston for wear before you do anything....or everything
