First, while we are at it, take off your muffler cover
Yea the Av mounts are about gone. I'm gonna go ahead replace the fuel line, impulse line, boot, all that stuff. Any guidance? Would it be best to take it in? Or could I do it?I see that it is an early model 066, so inspect the fuel line, impulse line and intake boot closely for cracks/tears, especially if you have some sloppy AV mounts.
Thanks. As long I don't have to split the case I should be able to handle itSounds like you could do it, if the av mounts are shot, it could be just a torn boot or line.

Not a bad way to swap out the intake and impulse lines while the tank/ handle is off#16 can be tough to remove. I find it easier to remove the whole rear tank handle assembly.

Agreed. Without compression, it will not run. Maybe for awhile it will, but then it will die. I foresee a new top end to save it.Not a bad way to swap out the intake and impulse lines while the tank/ handle is off
Listen to Harley too, check piston for wear before you do anything....or everything
