Stihl 075 oil pump seal question. Will this work? Please look!

Old seal has dog ear. Dealer gave me the one with no ear. Is this ok?

From what I recall, that series used 2 different pumps. They are not interchangeable. That probably explains the difference with the seal. Only way to know if it works is to try it out. You'll know it's a bust when the saw smokes like a freighter.

pretty good. The 066 crank bearing went and caused gouge in flywheel from destroying the coil. IV got my 075 tore down and am looking for an oil pump seal that is identical to the one I took out. All in its coming along. Soon I'll be looking for some hefty bars. So life is good. How's that newborn.

Doing great. Growing like a weed, trying to find time to change diapers and fuel lines is pretty rough though

I had one smoke like a freight train too! Ungodly Smoke.
I also had one leak into the cylinder so bad, it was under hydraulic lock when I tried to pull the starter rope. it sat for a couple months first though.
