Up for sale one 090G Stihl Chainsaw with Original Manual
This is the rarer model G (Gear Drive)
This is the model they used as a milling saw and felling saw.
I can not find another saw setup like this to compare price.
I've been told everything from $800 to $5,000

An 090G has more value as a collectible than a service saw. That being said, your muffler is damaged and missing the heat shield, still servicible, but still damaged from a collector standpoint. Those mufflers are about as rare as rocking horse crap. That bar, chain, and helper handle are worth approximately $500, the powerhead is worth $1250-$1750.

Okay, since you insist on the auction approach, and also insist on doing it on here rather than an auction site, rather than accepting what numerous people have told you the REAL value is, AND starting a new post "accepting bids". My bid is $50.25. Let me know if you'll be needing a shipping address.

This is a chainsaw site, if you type "auction site" into Google, I would imagine Arboristsite doesn't even show up. Do you have something to contribute to the site or forums or just here looking for attention "look at me and my 090G?" Like others have told you as well, they are out there, they aren't as rare as you seem to think they are, yours being among the least rare variety, members here have the more rare earlier versions, there is even a member here that has one that has never had gas in it. Trust me, your saw isn't rare by collectible chainsaw standards.

There are plenty of us members here that have them, if you've come here looking for a $3500-$4500 offer, you are wasting your time. You've not commented on this thread since you started it which tells me you are just using Arboristsite and the members that have spent years and put in the homework as a bluebook for your chainsaw. So you can accept my offer, continue to waste your time, put a realistic price on it, or you can put it on eBay.
