Stihl 192 ce oiling questions

I am not a carver however I like to make things like bonfire benches and ruff usable things.
I have a 192 that I use for limbing and small firewood and trimming and.... you get the point this little thing is such a useful handy little saw.
On to my point.
I was trimming the edges of of some benches to soften them up.
Now usually I think this saw is a little stingy with the oil. However as I was trimming the benches the 192 started dripping and globing all kinds of oil.
So was I running to many rpms for to little wood or is there something I should know about carving and bar oil.
I really wish the oiler was adjustable on the 192 probably my only complaint.
 
Ps I am using stock 14" bar and stock .43 picco chain
