Just picked up an MS192T on marketplace for $225 less than 5 miles away. It’s pretty clean but I got it home and went to cut. Noticed the bar didn’t seem to be oiling but oil was seeping out after running. Took it apart and found the below pictures. Seems to be a common problem, I’m mostly going to use the saw for small limbing but may try to do some climbing with a buddies gear to do minor trimming. Should I get two of these replacements? How often do they dry rot and crack?

Actually not seen this issue in the shop before. But all the pros opt for 200 and 201T in this area. I am going to say one will repair it.

They don't fail that often. I just replaced my oil pump though. The shop insisted it was likely a plugged pickup but after rinsing the oil tank with diesel and blowing back through the pickup the only fix was the pump.

Any interest in selling your 192?
