Stihl 460 Carb Question??

I just rebuilt the carb on a 460 Stihl and on the high adjustment taking it out more than 1/2 to 5/8's turn from seated is my max - it becomes too rich/dies ??? (Air filter is clean and all carb lines connected and clear). Any suggestions - Thanks.

Concur. Double check that you have the gasket and diaphragm in the right order. Carb > gasket > diaphragm > cover plate

What's the L screw sitting at?
