There are a few mistakes in that ad;

The saw in question is the BLK-57, which is the Army version made 1954-73 - not the "plain" BLK made 1948-73, as he states.
He put the wrong BLK description in that ad.

As a sidenote, BLK-57s that is red and not Army saws are known to exist, and at least the Swiss Army used them, in addition to the West German one........:)

I ran an identical saw yesterday at the local harvester show. It runs very sweet and its sound is superb.

I am shocked about the price this saw has hit so far. There are plenty of these saws around in europe and go for somewhat 250 to 400 $ on ebay.
