stihl AV question

this is my first time so please be easy on me........... I was raised on a stihl 028 AV super. and now that I am looking for a newer saw I do not like the newer style anti-vibration design, is the newer bushing style as reliable as the older style, and has anyone had any issues with the plastic wrap-around grab bar vs the older metal bar? I am looking for a saw in the 290/310 size range, should I look for an older well cared for saw, or look at a larger saw so I can get the different style AV design?

I say keep runnin the 28 or get a 361.

When you say bushings you mean the springs?

All current production stihl's 362 and under (361, 260, etc) have plastic handlebars.

Find a nice used 036/360, light as the 028S and more hp, can be had for less than 1/2 of 361/362 cost.
