Stihl BR430 IPL?

Fellow brings me this blower cuz won't run. The bracket holding the coil is cracked off. Coil & flywheel have grooves where they have been rubbing a while. Is it worth it to pull the clamshell off and install a new one? I've never worked on one, so it'd take me forever.
Does anyone have an IPL to check part price? Thanks, Doug

I've got a service manual but only goes up to the br420, square body, which has a crankcase.

I know nothing about these backpack blowers....Are they worth putting $150-$200 in parts/labor? This one has been rode hard and put away wet.
