How much does the RMF 404 and RSF 3/8 run per DL, approximately? I nicked a 32 inch chain cutting up some big oaks for the FIL and the thought of sharpening in 1/2 the time is very appealing right now. None of the local stilh dealers stock it and only one said he could order it but couldn't tell me the price because he was really busy.

A 32 inch 404 RSLFK (square ground skip classic L) chain has an MSRP about $58, and the 3/8 about $40. You can sharpen them round when blunt. Many dealers sell for a lot less..

Out here a dealer can't buy the RMF in 404 or 3/8 as loops - only 100 foot or 25 foot reels.

1/2 the time...? well.. it has 2/3 the cutters not 1/2
