Hello there,
I recently rebuilt one MS 270 Chainsaw out of two major junkers. It was great fun, as the saw was very simple to rebuild, and I think, has an "easy to work" on design. Did new crankseals as well. My problem now is how to pressure vac the crankcase since it has a stupid set up of mounting the muffler back on? I fear I can't get it sealed for pressure testing enough to get a constant reading on the gauge. I have the problem now, that some components could be responsible for the ocurring flodding of the engine. The carb tested out ok on the gauge, but I think that ones the culprit. Coilwire is shot (can't be replaced) as well and the flywheelkey is mostly sheered so the timing could be off a bit, although i matched it closely. I don't want to sink major bills into it, since it was junk and only will be a "junk saw" with educational purpose for myself.
Could somebody help me out with a repair manual? I would greatly appreciate it.
