Hi everyone, my stihl ms 362 blew up, a piece of the choke butterfly broke and got inside the engine and wrecked everything.
I wanted to buy a meteor kit but I don’t know if it’a compatible since I found various parts number for the same cylinder.
I have the older style-flat fins version which loos visually the same as the meteor one
The meteor reference number is 1140 020 1200
And mine is 1140 020 1209 do you think it will work?
Thanks everyone

There are 2 versions of the 362 cylinder. Early models had normal looking fins, late models have fins on an angle. They aren’t interchangeable. Buy a used oem cylinder that looks like yours outside

Ok so even if the part number is different the older style cylinders are interchangeable?
