Stihl MS250c meltdown, need opinions

Some of the parts work pretty good depending on how they are used. Some of the homeowner saws don't get used that often or that long. We have several saws in this neighborhood that haven't been started in two years because the utility company is cutting much of our wood for us..

We didn't have a say so in the decision, just woke up one morning and they were cutting the trees down. Luckily they just cut along the road but there's firewood everywhere..

Did you send him back to this reputable shop?

He tried taking it back, they didn't want to hear it though. Wouldn't take it back and gave him $200 to shut him up. At least he got something, but still a **** move.

I rebuilt it with new OEM bearings/crank/seals and an aftermarket big bore kit from baileys. Good working saw for him now + Same cc's as a 460 now at least.
