Who has used a USG? I bought one on freebay new from a retired dealer. Lost or stolen USPS enroute. He refunded me but USPS jacked him out of his claim.

I have a good condition usg that i have been thinking of selling. Great tool to have but its overkill for my needs.

Does anyone know how to adjust the grinder so both cutters are the same length.
They aren't far off, but I was hoping for better, the wheel on my grinder is almost new.

I have owned this attachment for at least 25 years. Have never run into another owner.

How far off are your cutters from left to right when grinding round chain.

I ordered a foot pedal for mine today, should be here next week.

I don't know how far it is off when switching side to side. I measure and adjust until the second side is the same as the first side.

I also make minor depth adjustments.

I noticed the depth changed a little as well.
I'll be trying it out with the foot pedal real soon, hoping I like it better than the tecomec super jolly.

I looked a few years ago for for this attachment and had no luck
I met a guy that is square grinding on a USG with out this attachment and his videos was impressive
They did talk me out of the square grind chain for the wood type that have

Have a HOS and a USG and dream of finding a square grinder attachment.
Not sure I need one, and dreaming is cheaper than buying one.

Just buy one, life's to short not to have the right grinder for the job .
Now for the space to put them lol.

Sold the silvey because no market for square local. Just keep on grinding with the USG.
