there is a 660 on ebay that is a n "artic" model, anybody ever used an artic model? Im in texas so it would be useless but if it works like a regular saw i would get it.

It is a regular saw, just you flip a switch and you get warm bars and heated carb -when you need it.

There is an alternator under the flywheel, and a heater element on the carb body to prevent icing, and the handle heater you can turn on and off. Adds some weight to the saw, so you could take it all off to lighten it up.

The heated grips are nice when its cold,But they really rock when its wet and damp out side. when they are off you dont know the diff. Thanks

Not a lot of weight here.I would not even bother, saw is worth more with it on.
