more or less newbie.
Was offered an echo limb pruner,
14 ft., small motor. works good.
Cut's quick. Homeowner use.
I live a wooded area.

Is it worth $300,ya think ?
Get tired of ladder, handsaw.

Thank you'al.
Good Site..........

Echo makes some great power tools. They do not have the name recognition that Stihl or Husky has. Echo tools I own include a PB-46HT blower,SRM 2400 trimmer, SRM 3100 trimmer, and a CS-4400 saw. They all start easily and have never given me any problems.

I believe that the power pruners generally run over $500 new. Echo does have several versions available. $300 is probably not too bad of the price if the unit was maintained and not abused. I would be very careful when using one near power lines. Good luck.

they're great machines for the money. Echo is a less known, but well respected brand in engines and products like this. in landscapers circles, Echo is a well known brand, but their saws arent as commonly seen.
