1121 part# prefix will be the 024/026 series. 1118 will be the 028.
The stroke is different on the 024, the #'s on the rod are different and is one way to tell if a crank case is a 024 or a 026. I think the 024 # is 1114 and the 026 is 1121,can anyone else verify this, the old memory isn't what it used to be.

Never said there weren't different cranks and cases for these rascals! Just indicated which prefix is for which saw for basic identification purposes.

There are two cases for the 024/026, an 1121-020-2117 and 2112. There are also two for the 028. An 1118-020-2123 and 2124.

Regardless, an 1121 prefix=024/026 and an 1118 prefix=028.

I just looked and the parts i have and they are for a 028 WB. I could not find the case (weird). I could find the fuel tank, carb, Top cover and side cover. Im sure i will find the rest. Im sorry its not what your looking for but if anyone needs it let me know. Im sure one day when i clean out the shop it will just get tossed.

I wasn't criticizing your response Pogo, I was just trying to keep some one from installing a 026 p/c on a 024 case. You are dead on for the prefix #'s.

Didn't take it that way and knew what ya meant there, Jim. But fwiw, an 024AVS bottom end is the same as an early 026, (w/o the adjustable oiler hole in the case bottom). 32mm stroke crank -- 1121-030-0405.

Cheers!

I have a Husky 142 parts saw, that is missing a carb.
I am looking to trade it for a Husky 235/240 parts saw.
I can send you pics if you want.

Send me a PM/Start a Conversation.

Thanks!

Not a saw but I'm in need of a lower engine pan for a BR 600 blower. BR 500 and 550 will fit as well.
Flywheel sheared the key and took out the lower mounting arm for the recoil. Re aligned the flywheel and its running but needs gone through. Thanks.

Anybody have a somewhat clean 026 case with good bearings? Just need the case with crank and bearings, I have one here with bad bearings. Can't decide if I should just put new bearings in it, just one of them things I hate doing. Just putting out a feeler. Got tonage to trade.
I have one but not sure if bearings are good will check when I get time

I am in need off an ignition module/coil for a Mantis tiller. I am told that one from an Echo hedge trimmer will work. I have paypal or some parts. If you have one please let me know. Tom
