Just got 110 gallons of used synthetic compressor oil today will not be needing bar oil anytime soon.

Well, it can't be as nasty as used crankcase oil....

With that said, even if it gradually wears out an oiler etc, after running some gallons, it starts adding up in savings.

Ha, idea! Every gallon run, "buy" it from yourself at a bar oil deal price, throw a fiver into a coffee can. Use that loot for saw scores/repairs/chains, etc.
