Sycamore suprise

I believe it is related to maple, so an acceptable firewood.

I enjoy Sycamore although most around here turn their noses up at it. Like was said, its heavy as heck when green, and light when dry, but I like the way that it burns and think it throws decent enough heat. A friend of mine says that "it smells like wet grass when split green". I can see that (or should I say smell that!
