I’m working on a few 540xps
One of them I didn’t do a press and vac test on,
The saw runs and cuts but will have a idle change if put on its side
Thinking crank seal, I have some farmertec ms 200 crank seals, the metal type with rubber
They look the same soze
As well as I tried some ms200 bearings over a crank i have for a 540
Could these be interchangeable?

Cant you measure them? I dont think Stihl has many bearings that can be wswapped they usually make stuff their own size so you have to buy from them.

I will measure later and share
Assuming most ppl don’t prefer the Bakelite type seals over standard type

Well I certainly likes the so called OEM seals. The reason some people dont like them is because they dont know the proper way to install them and they break them. Not all You Tube videos are 100 percent correct.

Stihl measurements for the seals then the bearings .

Oil seal 12x20x5 (2)
Roller bearing 12x24.5x8.8 (2)
