Looking for opinions on the smallest quality tach to attach to handle to stay on tge saw to check idle, max rpm, and rpm in the cut

Stihl EDT-8 is what I have had a tiny tach but they were the worst to work with when it came to a warranty claim. I am in Canada and they just had excuse after excuse. Just my 2 cents. Since we are phasing out the pennies my 5 cents.

Brad I use a tto tach which is no bigger footprint than the handle on my 026 and like it pretty good. I want one for my 461. Is the tiny tach small enough to tie wrap to the handle and not be bulky?

Installed the tto tach on the handle of this 026 and also on back side of handle I installed the mtronic diagnostic manual contolled screwdriver!! Lol
I like that.

I want another for my 461 but the stihl edt 8 footprint is too big. I use it for my shop tach. Just lookin for ideas as I like to see what rpms I hold in the cut

Something quick and dirty. Shawn sent me a video of a 660 that he got up and rnning and I saw he had the tach in his hamfisted jabroni cabbage collector of a hand sooo I made him something quick. He can mount it on his dyno as well.

Im pretty sure tto like the one on my 026 in the picture makes the works connections tach. Sendec makes the stihl edt7 and 8 im pretty sure too

I'm sorry, but I don't understand the obsession with RPM's in the cut. That simply is a function of how much pressure you are putting on the saw, power, the condition of the chain, and the wood. I can stall any saw with enough levering against the wood.

Managed to squeeze a tacho on to my 192T as well.
Sendec makes the TTO? I was watching videos on the youtubes, and the works seemed to respond fairly well. I assume the TTO and Works are the same size then?
