We call the short pieces nubbins. I usually take the longer ones and split them up really fine for kindling. The crooked or knotty pieces that wont split or stack good go next to the outside fireplace, they go good with cold beer.

Iv got a friend that claims he chops it in small peices and sells it for $4.00 per pound:jawdrop: -I bet he's got a cool name for it -Ill check with him on it




he calls em "hard wood smok'n chips"-kingsford sells em also under the name-get this-WOOD CHIPS ! haha

I must confess..... i had inside info ! I once knew a little man who rode one from bar to bar. OK..... so maybe it was more like around his yard. But it was the only one i'd ever seen in person.
