talked to mama today and think i have finally convinced her to let me put an add on furnace in the basement.
just seems like th way to go. we have had a stove inside the house for three years now but with the remodel and expansion, just seems like i could plumb a wood furnace into the ducts of the central box in the basement.
iam sure i am greatly over simplifying this.
anyone in here have an add on firnace, or a stand alone for that matter mounted in an unfinished basement like i have described or is tis all just a pipe dream.

Do you have access to get a flue pipe out easy enough? And be close to the furnace?
Shipper 50 and I just installed an Englander add on in his basement a few weeks ago.. Bu we went out the side wall, and then up 18 feet with type A. He cut the hole in the concrete wall using a drill and chisels
