Who all subscribes to The Northern Logger magazine?It's a good read,good stories and information of logging and sawmilling in and around lake states and eastern states.There is a good article in March issue for the Mcc collecters. Seth

I like it. Been reading it for 4 or 5 years. Always has something good to peak the interest. Way better than that piece of trash that one of the sponsors here puts out, "forestry equipment" or some drivel. Their latest issue had an article on mechanized logging in the steep terrain of West Virginia. They included 3 or 4 photos of equipment designed to self level in steep terrain, but oddly enough all of them were taken on flat ground, lame.

Yeah I don't think they ever can replace a faller and cable skidders in some situations.Seth
