The Official Zogger Cancer Fundraiser Thread

Hey Guys,

As you may have seen, our friend and fellow AS member Zogger (Mark) has been diagnosed with throat cancer and is undergoing radiation and chemo.

A number of us will be auctioning off saws and other equipment and 100 percent of the proceeds will be sent to Mark. We will be posting the threads in the trading post. With the blessings of Darin and Jen we will be selling in an auction format so folks can have a chance to bid for these items. Paypal is preferred for these auctions but if you want to use a different online payment method or send a check we can accommodate as well.

Also if you do not wish to buy anything but want to help him out or even send him a greeting card, please send me a PM and I can provide you with his mailing and/or Paypal address.

We will use this thread as home base for all auctions and to update you on his health.

We are not doing a go fund me but he does have a PayPal. For anyone who wants to throw him a few $ please send me a PM. I can provide you with his PayPal info or you can send it to me and I’ll shoot it over to him (and provide you with a screenshot of the receipt).

I also have Venmo and can “convert” to PayPal for those who don’t have both.

And of course mailing him a check would work too.

Not nearly as cool as Dahmer’s ported beast but here’s a muffler modded Poulan 4218 that I’m donating to the cause. FWIW I had no interest in a stock 4218 but this became a fun little saw with the muffler cleared out.

Wanted to give an update on Mark and also a shout out to thank everyone who has contacted me over the past couple of weeks to help.

The good news is Mark’s treatments appear to be working well. He wrapped up his last round of chemo on Tuesday. They will be running another round of tests soon to see what is left and then determine what further treatments are necessary.

It sounds as though he’s going to need to use a feeding tube for quite a while.

The bad news is he has a lot of medical bills and does not have the strength to get back working for some time yet. So anything you can offer would be much appreciated.

Im hoping to get a couple more of my saws ready to go up for auction soon.
