The spine of my HitchHiker isn't anodized; is that a problem?

I didn't think much about it at first. I thought they came in different colors, since my is black and plain aluminum, while other are sort of titanium colored or orange.

Turns out the colored ones are from the anodizing. I think it has something to do with corrosion prevention and making the surface more durable.

I'm wondering if the fact that mine isn't anodize will cause it to corrode or wear quicker?

Anybody know about this?

That's good to hear. I've read the posts that Paul Cox made while developing the HH, so I was sure he wouldn't do anything that would be problematic for the user.

Thanks
