Just got back from the Doctors office, I have a nice bullseye on my back and a large bottle of pills. Hopefully I will be better soon, I have wood to stack and brush to clean up.

After 12 years as a working cowboy with my legs hanging off of a horse while moving through all kinds of vegetation, ticks in the spring is just another day at the office. You will get hit with a double whammy, ticks coming from the brush you ride through as well as coming from the horses belly where they can get quite thick at times. Nothing scientific, but all of the guys on the crew will use baby powder on lower legs and in boots, it won't stop them all, but it does seem to help. As far as removing them we would all pack a bottle of Campho-Phenique, it works well.
