The article did not specify grades of logs etc. and fuel charges for removals.

Birch & maple are in the hole, too. Demand for lumber in general is low again (compared to couple years back when demand was high).

Chips for fuel, hope they set regulations. Encourage the chippers to leave the prime wood for future harvesting and forest regeneration. Don't want to see a charcoal recurrence.

I can hear home owners now asking aborests (currently they try for, you can have the wood in exchange for the removal of the tree), how much will I get for you to remove that tree (single tree removal over obstacle's on property).

Lets face it with the value of the dollar changing, people are spending different (I know my family and I are).
